Episode 5: Medical Kidnapping of a 2-year-old child at B.C. Children’s

Theo has not left the hospital in his 2-year-life. Despite having two loving parents and three sisters, he had been apprehended by child welfare and not allowed home with his parents.

The reason? His parents disagreed with the treatments B.C. Children's came up with for their son.

While Theo's parents advocate for minimal interventions, are against using unnecessary medications, choose to not vaccinate and would like to follow a protocol to lower their son's tracheostomy pressure and feeding load to see how he would tolerate it, their advocacy and requests have been bulldozed over by the hospital and child welfare without any sensible reasoning.
